What is satsang?

The word satsang is derived from Sanskrit. Sat means truth and sang communion.
Satsang is a gathering of people where, without a need to do anything, the power of presence of a spiritual teacher unveils a deeper level of human consciousness in which people experience a shift in identity: from being the content of their mind to being the awareness in the background.

Why satsang?

It is to wake people up to their life's purpose. To ignite, accelerate and intensify the transformation of human consciousness which ultimately will free them from the imprisonment of their own mind. This transformation in Hindu teachings is called enlightenment. In the teachings of Jesus, it is salvation, and in Buddhism, it is the end of suffering.
